Brian Anstey has had a diverse and bold career as a designer and Creative Director for a number of magazines in the US and abroad. Getting his early start at People Magazine, he later moved to Entertainment Weekly, eventually becoming the Design Director of the magazine. In 2009, Anstey had the opportunity to relocate to Milan for two years and become the Creative Director of the Italian edition of Vanity Fair. While in Milan, he did a complete redesign of the popular weekly magazine and launched numerous digital projects.
Anstey returned to New York in 2011 to become the Design and later Creative Director of InStyle and lead a redesign of this leading American fashion title. He has expanded his role to oversee the design of the digital and video properties of the brand.
Throughout his career, Anstey has designed and art directed numerous websites, prototypes, branding, advertising, promotional, video and digital projects. His work has been recognized by The Society of Publication Designers, Art Directors Club, ASME, D&AD, and The Society of Illustrators.
